Every year between 2000 and 2007, Albania issued a mini-sheet with 16 different stamps on the topic of “local traditional costumes”. An error had crept in with the 2007 mini-sheet. The stamp on the far right in the top row showed a woman's costume. The inscription on the stamp was “KOSTUM BURRI - HOTI”, translating to “Male costume - Hoti”. It should have read “KOSTUM GRUAJE - HOTI” for women's costume. There are two versions of what happened to the mini-sheet. One says that the mini-sheet was withdrawn on the second day of sale and by then about 150 of the 4000 mini-sheets had been sold. The second version, which is also in the catalog, says that the error was discovered before it was issued and that the Albanian Post did sell the mini-sheets later, in small quantities, at increased prices to stamp dealers.
