On September 21, 1984, two stamps were issued in Angola on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the investiture of President José Eduardo dos Santos. In the corresponding post office information leaflet accompanying it, the mentioned union "Uniao Nacional dos Trabalhadores Angolanos", abbreviated U.N.T.A. was abbreviated U.N.I.T.A. However, the latter was the abbreviation of the rebel movement (União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola) of Jonas Savimbi, who was in civil war with the ruling MPLA. The stamps were withdrawn after a few hours of post office sales.
