Folk costumes

From July 15, 1934 to July 15, 1936, Austria issued a series of definitives on the subject of "folk costumes". On the 6 Groschen value issued on August 15, 1934, the depiction of the winegrower with a small house cap looked as if his ears were mutilated. A corrected stamp was therefore issued in 1935. On the 2 Schilling stamp (issued on August 15, 1934), the Austrian eagle depicted on the lower right had only 5 feathers on its wings. The stamp was withdrawn and a corrected stamp with 7 feathers on the wings was issued on April 3, 1935.
