A 17c stamp (express rate) issued by Canada on September 16, 1946, had the French word "EXPRÊS" imprinted, with circumflex on the second "E". However, the French word is "EXPRÈS", with a grave on the second "E". A corrected stamp was issued on December 3, 1946.
