As part of a stamp issue commemorating „Anniversaries and Events“ did Cyprus dedicate one stamp to the „Moufflon-Cup water ski competition“ on May, 24, 1993. The stamp inscription read „MUFFLON“ instead of „MOUFFLON“. The stamp was withdrawn immediately and replaced by a corrected issue shortly afterwards.
