The Frama labels device in Berlin-Lichtenberg 1 (Post Code 10365) delivered ever worse printing quality for the receipts during the end of 1994. In consequence the printing unit was replaced on November 21, 1994. Good printing quality was re-established. But the new printing unit delivered receipts with different caption and size of the paper.
Investigations uncovered that the new printing unit from the company Klüssendorf was actually intended for the Spanish market but did coincidentally fit the Berlin device. It was removed on December 15, 1994, and replaced by the old printing unit with the bad printing quality. It remains unknown how long the original printing unit remained in service.
