On May 7, 2024, Monaco issued a Europe stamp on the theme of “Underwater fauna and flora”. The Mediterranean octopus was depicted on the stamp. The plan was to place the Europe logo in the center at the top of the stamp. However, this was forgotten. After the error was noticed, the stamps were withdrawn from sale and a corrected stamp was issued in mid-July 2024.
