Montserrat, a British Overseas Territory, issued overprinted stamps in November 1987. The overprint commemorating the 40th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. The issue's overprint had Edinburgh misspelled as Edingburgh. The erroneous stamps were withdrawn and re-issued by a corrected set.
