Views
On July 2, 1957, the Pitcairn Islands issued definitives featuring „Views“. One of the stamps was dedicated to Pitcairn School. While the inscription on the stamp read „Pitcairn School“, the image on the stamp depicted the Schoolteacher's House. Therefore a corrected stamp was issued on November 5, 1957. The correction however was to change the inscription to „Schoolteacher's House“ rather than altering the image.
