In the Solomon Islands, a set of stamps on the theme of "health promotion" was issued on June 24th, 1991. As in other regions of the world, obesity due to poor nutrition is on the rise there. The 65c stamps showed "Less Healthier Food" on the left side and Healthier Food" on the right. This was accompanied in each case by the head of a man, one fatter and one thinner. The stamp was ultimately not issued, but was accidentally sold in small quantities at post office counters.
