On May 26, 1958 the Soviet Union issued a stamp on the occasion of the conference of the Postmasters General of the socialist countries. Among other things, the flags of the participating countries were depicted on the stamp. The CSSR flag, however, was incorrectly depicted with red at the top and white at the bottom. As a result, a corrected stamp was issued in November of the same year.
