EXPO 1992
On April 20, 1992, the United Arab Emirates issued two stamps on the occasion of the World Exhibition (EXPO) 1992 in Seville, Spain. On the stamp with a face value of 250 Fils, the Arabic word for "Postage" was weak in the representation and therefore open to misinterpretation. The stamp was withdrawn because of this. The other stamp (2 Dirham) was not affected.
