In 1993, a miniature sheet issue on "Legends of the West" was planned. In the second row of stamps, the second stamp from the left was to depict Wild West show performer Bill Pickett. However, the stamp image showed his brother Ben Pickett. The miniature sheet remained unissued, but 183 sheets were sold before the issue date. As a result, the U.S. Postal Service decided to give away 150.000 sheets to collectors in a lottery. In addition, a corrected miniature sheet issue was issued in 1994.
